Take My Jacket, It's Cold.

OHMYFUCKINGGOD, YOU GUYS.
This has to be my favourite piece that I've ever done.

You all know how madly in love I am with Kid Flash and Jinx, so when I saw this, I just had to add it to the KF/J archived pieces I was doing. I mean, how freaking cute is it?

This is the last *for now* in my Kid Flash/Jinx series, and I hardcore dig it.

Mkay. So, I did this one in mixed media, and I am SO proud.

All of the black was done with calligraphy micron brush pens.

The pink in Jinx's hair is allll Crayola Coloured pencil.

The skin tones are, of course, Crayola coloured pencil, because nothing gets skin tone and shadow quite like they do.

Wally's hair is pretty much the WORST shading and blending job ever heard of, but I still really love the way I turned out. Let's pretend he and Jinx decided to get crazy with the hair dye, yeah?

And here's the most interesting part:
Jinx's top and Wally's polo are coloured in GEL PEN.
I couldn't find thin-tipped markers, and it was three am by the time I was at this point in colouring, so I thought, 'why the hell not?'

I am absolutely ecstatic with the way that this one turned out, and I hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed drawing it.
